On Yourself
What does self-discovery mean to you?

Self-discovery means being truly honest with yourself about how you feel, no matter how difficult the feeling.

Especially as it relates to your experiences, your relationship, and your environment.

Can you describe your relationship to your sexuality?

I’m still discovering my sexuality and forever will be. As I become more aware and conscious of my needs and desires, my sense of sexuality grows.

I respect where I am at now because it’s my own and no one else’s.

On Sexuality
How do you give yourself pleasure?
How do you ask for what you want?

I have many strategies for finding pleasure, which includes small, mundane things that people might take for granted. For example, I recognize the importance of breathing deeply, especially when you’re stressed. If you can regulate your body first, you can regulate your thoughts and emotions.

Asking for what you want is not about them; it’s about you. When I’m comfortable and secure with myself, I am able to directly ask my partner for what I want.

On Womankind
What’s your favorite part about being a woman?
What advice would you have for women early in their self-discovery?
In terms of pleasure, what do you think women don’t talk about enough?

The women in my life are strong, intuitive, and caring. We aren’t just lucky to know each other — we are deserving!

For any woman early in their self-discovery, pay close attention to how you feel and how your body reacts. Try to appreciate those moments and be open to educating yourself. Learning never stops and that’s exciting. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo. Chances are there is another woman who is going through the same exact thing. Find them.
