On Yourself
What does self-discovery mean to you?

Self discovery is the inner cycle of death and rebirth. Letting go of the ego and renewing my perspective. Looking at myself with open eyes.

Can you describe your relationship to your sexuality?

My relationship to my sexuality is undefined. I’m someone that feels more at home in my mind and spirit than I do in my body. I like my body, and it doesn’t feel foreign or strange. I feel like the expression of my soul through my body often feels like I’m an artist working in a new medium. Sex is like that too. I’m brimming with energy and learning how to communicate it sexually, but I'm not trying to overthink it.

On Sexuality
How do you give yourself pleasure?

I find pleasure in creative expression. Singing, writing, drawing, dancing. I find satisfaction in thinking, and working through different concepts. Often alone, sometimes with my husband. I am most pleased when my true self aligns with my spoken words and lived actions.

How do you ask for what you want?

“Iin the bedroom, with a whisper
in my work life, in writing
in my relationships, with clarity and empathy”

On Womankind
What’s your favorite part about being a woman?

The power.

What advice would you have for women early in their self-discovery?

At 27 I feel like I’m early in my self-discovery. My advice to myself is to be honest and be patient. Look at the darkest places of yourself. Let go.
